A EUOLOGY OF AN ENLIGHTENED SON OF MOTHER INDIA
From his birth on 22 July 1962 till his demise on the auspicious day of Shivaratri on 16 February 2007 is a saga of sacrifice and self abnegation in pursuit of ways and means to alleviate the inconsistencies and degeneration that is overcoming and overwhelming our glorious culture and traditions.
Mohanji, a B.E mechanical engineer was a Deputy Manager with the prestigious MICO. Though blessed with high academic and professional background he chose to refrain from the gratifications of a personal life. Instead he resolved to the service of the under privileged sections of the society. He became a full time social activist concentrating on the 650 and odd slums in Bangalore under the auspices of Keshava Seva Samithi.Within a short span of time he was able to mobilize like minded people and resources and was able to help and provide relief to thousands of people in slums suffering from poverty.misery and misguidance from the agents of parochial forces who wanted to take advantage out of the ignorance and poverty of those simple people.
Mohanji, the human being par excellence, an embodiment of all virtues, a being who could have done much more for our society was taken away from us by cruel fate in the name of an heart attack.The bright flame that was leading us was extinguished by nature without any prior warning on 16.02.2007
