| Target: Youth who are in desperate need of jobs to sustain their families are part of this scheme. | |
| 1. Self Employment schemes: Vocational training is provided to men based on the needs assessment carried out from time to time in the slums. Computer classes, screen printing, plumbing, electrician course, etc., Job placements are also provided to most of these youths. | |
| 2. Micro-financing schemes: Part financing of push carts for vegetable vending and ironing are provided to selected youths. | |
